Dips and Sauces – so much better home-made
Shop bought dips and sauces are typically full of lots of additional ingredients (sugars, salts, saturated fats) to help stabilise the produce and give it a long shelf life. The good news is that many of our favourites are quick and easy to make and much tastier with fresh ingredients. Switching from shop bought to home-made is one area of the diet where you can easily eliminate hidden sugars, and gain the benefits of more nutritious condiments.
